The Phoenix metro area's Southeast Valley has several nationally-recognized school districts filled with top-rated schools, including Chandler Unified School District, Gilbert Unified School District, Kyrene School District, Higley Unified School District, Tempe Union High School District, and Mesa Unified School District, which is the largest district in Arizona. Under Arizona’s open-enrollment law, children can attend other schools within the district or in another district by applying to that school, so families can be confident their child is receiving the best possible education. There are also plenty of higher education opportunities throughout Metro Phoenix. Arizona State University has campuses in Glendale, Mesa, Downtown Phoenix, and its main campus in Tempe. Concerts can be attended at Talking Stick Resort Arena and Comerica Theatre in downtown Phoenix, and Gammage Auditorium in Tempe (the last public building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright). The Mesa Arts Center in Mesa supports regular independent musical and theater performances.

Camelback Mountain Echo Canyon Recreation Area
